Celebrate International Jazz Day with an evening exploring Chicago’s vibrant jazz scene through the Jazz Club Tour presented by the Jazz Institute of Chicago. Guests will travel across the city visiting some of Chicago’s most beloved jazz clubs while experiencing live performances from outstanding local and touring musicians. The tour highlights the diversity of Chicago’s jazz community and the venues that keep the music alive year-round. This year’s tour features two curated routes in the city, each named in honor of legendary jazz musicians celebrating their 100th birthday in 2026.
• Miles Davis Route – South
• Melba Liston Route – Central
Guests can experience the tour in two ways: by joining a guided bus route that transports guests between clubs, or by creating their own experience through the DIY Club Tour option and visiting venues at their own pace.
The Jazz Club Tour is part of Chicago’s official celebration of International Jazz Day and showcases the city’s rich musical legacy while supporting the venues and artists who continue to shape the future of jazz.
