In celebration of UNESCO’s International Jazz Day, with Chicago serving as the 2026 host city, The Magnificent Mile will debut the inaugural Tulips & Trumpets: A Mile Full of Jazz this April. The program pairs the district’s iconic tulip displays with live jazz performances, highlighting Chicago’s enduring role in the global jazz tradition. In collaboration with the Chicago Federation of Musicians, Tulips & Trumpets Tuesdays will bring live performances to The Shops at North Bridge, creating a vibrant gathering place in the heart of North Michigan Avenue as the city joins communities around the world in celebrating jazz.
